Planetary Influence Defined by Keywords

Here is a list of descriptive keywords for the planets. Once you know the planetary keywords, description of the houses and signs, and the meaning of the aspects, you can match those different elements and begin a preliminary interpretation your own chart. Note that matching keywords and descriptions can create a traditional interpretation, however acquiring significant personal meaning from your chart requires a higher level of skill and inquiry.

Mercury: messenger of the gods, communication, bearer of news, expressive skills, swift
Negative: restlessness, dishonest

Venus: harmony and the force that binds and attracts. Appreciation of art, music and all
things beautiful and wonderful, fruitful and productive
Negative: laziness, sensuality for it’s own sake

Mars: action, ambitious, courage, headstrong, leader, athletic
Negative: destructiveness, temper, excessive aggression

Jupiter: benevolent, kind, big hearted, expansive and generous
Negative: extravagance, indolence, over-confident

Saturn: Obstruction, compression, constrict, careful, practical
Negative: obstructive, avarice, fear, paranoid fear

Uranus: change, truth, sincere, inventive, intuitive, action
Negative: eccentricity, irresponsibility

Neptune: an octave to Mercury, insight, knowledge from higher sources,
Negative: Delusions, fraud

Pluto: penetrating, fearless, otherworldly, subconscious work
Negative: naïve, dreaminess, drifter

Moon: restless, domestic, fertility, sensitive, emotional
Negative: moody, vacillating

Sun: life and life source, generous and firm
Negative: despot, overbearing, excessively, demanding

Pluto the drifter

A self-induced illusion can be a very naive "picture", an impression that one can drift within until a Saturn shock occurs. Very much within the scope of Pluto. Keywords aren't the best, but they can have a place.
